On September 5, 2018, STEP will be hosting Jon Mackey’s Quizzo on the Hiawatha. If you are not familiar with Quizzo, it’s a pub trivia game, and Jon Mackey is a local Quizzo master. Your $25 ticket to this fundraiser for the STEP Community Collaboration Endowment Fund will include two drinks, food, and Quizzo on the Hiawatha. Contact Jamey Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org or 570.601.9546 for tickets or with any questions!
Quizzo on the Hiawatha, along with several other fundraisers, will help to establish a STEP Community Collaboration Endowment Fund that will provide long-term funding for current and future programs in STEP’s Community Collaboration Pathway.
The Community Collaboration Pathway focuses on cooperation and partnerships to maximize resources, leading to individual and community success. Some of STEP’s current programs and initiatives include: Service Navigation, which helps individuals reach their goals on the path to self-sufficiency; the Supportive Housing Program, which assists customers struggling to find or keep affordable housing; Youth Enrichment for Success, which provides a path to job readiness for youth, ages 16 through 21; and STEP AmeriCorps, which provides valuable experience to service members by matching them with local non-profits, which in turn increases capacity at the agencies.
