Please be prepared to provide your name, the name of your program and
short description of the concern you are calling about. Health concerns
you may want advice about may include allergies, medication
administration, a questionable rash, runny nose, asthma and asthma
treatment or any one of number of other medical dilemmas that you may be
facing on a specific day. The nurse will not diagnose the children, but
she will be able to help you determine whether the child or children
should be excused and, if necessary, your course of action to minimize a
potential outbreak.
The health consultant is also available to conduct onsite consultations
to providers in Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Fulton and Somerset counties.
