Lycoming-Clinton Head Start, STEP, Inc.
Lycoming-Clinton Head Start fosters hope, growth, self-sufficiency and social competence in children and their families through partnerships with parents and community.
Programs for children 2 to 3 years old:
- The Parent-Child Home Program
Programs for children 3 to 5 years old:
- Federal and State-funded Head Start Program
- PA Pre-K Counts Program
All programs are at no cost and include:
- Individualized learning experiences that foster every child's social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth;
- Support for parents, the child's first and most important teachers;
- Early identification and intervention to support children who have or may have disabilities;
- Help for families to improve their lives.
Head Start Programs also include:
- Medical and dental examinations, health screenings, immunizations, wellness, follow-up;
- Opportunities for parents to participate in program planning and decision-making;
- Individualized family partnerships.
