If you live on one of the gateway corridors of Muncy or Muncy Borough (especially Water Street or Main Street) and need assistance repairing your home’s exterior, STEP may be able to help!
STEP’s “My Muncy” initiative focuses on community appearance and environmental stewardship in the Muncy area. The work is focused on the main corridors of Muncy Borough, extending into adjacent neighborhoods. The program will provide funding for a variety of needs, such as exterior washing and painting, porch repairs, fence repairs, landscaping, dead tree removal, sidewalk replacement, and storm water issues.
Acceptance into the program will require an application. Work has been completed on some homes already and will continue to be scheduled. Eligible homeowners will receive an exterior assessment to determine the priorities for each property and ensure the needed repairs can be met with available funds.
