As part of STEP’S Workforce Development Pathway, the Employment Transportation Assistance Program utilizes existing transportation assistance systems and case management to assist participants in obtaining and retaining employment. Transportation subsidy assistance is provided on a gradually declining basis as participants achieve longevity in their employment and have the opportunity to develop self-sufficient means of transportation.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Has custody of a child under 18
- Is within the 200% Federal Poverty Income guidelines
- If applying for mileage reimbursement, your vehicle must be registered and insured to someone in your immediate household.
*Please note, this is a once and lifetime program and has a maximum of $8000.
This program offers mileage reimbursement, bus passes, or shared ride services.
