Abigail Roberts is the new Chairperson of the STEP Board of Directors. Abbey comes with five years of experience on the STEP Board!
Abbey is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, holding a degree in Community Planning and Development. She has worked at the City of Lock Haven since 2019 and is currently the Planner and Development Coordinator there. We are excited for the energy, knowledge, and perspective that Abbey brings to the Board and appreciate her stepping up to lead the STEP Board of Directors!
As Abbey steps into the STEP Board Chair role, we would also like to say thank you to outgoing chairperson Brenda Nichols. Brenda joined our board in 2018 and served as Board Chair from 2021-2025. Brenda remains an involved board member with STEP, serving as Treasurer, as Chair of the Board Governance Committee, and as a member of the 60th Anniversary/Endowment Fundraising Committee.
