STEP, Inc. Awarded United Way Innovation Grant for Expansion of the Substitute Aide Pool Program
STEP, Inc. is proud to announce that the Substitute Aide Pool Program (SAPP) has been selected as a recipient of the 2025–2026 United Way of North Central Pennsylvania Innovation Grant. The $25,000 award will support the program’s expansion into Tioga County, strengthening access to high-quality early care and education across our region.
The grant was officially awarded on Tuesday, October 13, 2025, during the United for Impact Annual Meeting and Dinner, and was accepted on behalf of STEP by Rachelle Abbott, President & CEO.
The program’s expansion into Tioga County represents an important next step in strengthening the early learning landscape across our region and reflects STEP’s continued commitment to building sustainable, community-based solutions that create lasting impact.
